Message	contrary to manufacturer's recommendations. They are inside the plastic so shouldn't get too much water if any. They were really tricky to place and make fit. I can even reach in thru the door switch hole with a trim tool or screwdriver and flip the switches to adjust the crossover without taking off the door panel.
